Why your school should be involved!

Schools and classes from across Pakistan are invited to represent their school in this FREE and FUN online maths competition. The Pakistan Maths Challenge will see students compete in live, multi-player challenges. What’s more, students will be challenged with self-paced adaptive curriculum questions – all using the award winning Mathletics platform.

Participating schools in the Pakistan Maths Challenge compete for special awards and prizes – will your school be top of the leaderboard?

  • 1st place receives laptop for the school, a Mathletics Swag Bag* and printable digital certificates.

  • 2nd place receives Samsung Galaxy Tab for the school, a Mathletics Swag Bag* and printable digital certificates.

  • 3rd place receives a Mathletics Swag Bag* and printable digital certificates.

*Mathletics Swag Bag contains: a Mathletics trophy, bracelets & stickers as well as Class/school picture featured on upcoming Mathletics Blog.
All students who earn over 1000 points during the competition will be awarded a digital bronze certificate which can be printed by each student through the Mathletics student console.


  • Points from Live Mathletics and Curriculum Activities will be awarded to students individually and are only recorded throughout the competition period (12am Monday 17 Oct 2016 – 11:59pm Sunday 23 Oct). Please note that there will be no practice week in the lead up to this event.

  • Earning points in Live Mathletics: Students earn 1 point per correct answer, or 2 points if they have selected their bonus level.

  • Earning points in Mathletics Curriculum Activities: Students earn 10 points per correct answer, with a maximum of 300 points from any individual activity during the competition period.

  • To allow fair competition between schools of different sizes, school points are calculated on an “average points per student” basis.

  • Once the Pakistan Maths Challenge has ended, all results will be verified by the Mathletics team. Upon completion of verification, the winners will be announced on the PMC home page. All results as determined by the Mathletics team are final.

  • All schools and K-8 classes are eligible to compete in the challenge.

  • Registrations will remain open from Sep 26, 2016 till Oct 07, 2016. No late entries will be entertained.

  • The competition period is 12am Monday 17 Oct 2016 – 11:59pm Sunday 23 Oct.

  • A “class” is defined as having at least 20 participating students. Only schools meeting this requirement are eligible for school prizes.

  • STUDENTS CAN PLAY UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 21 HOURS DURING THE 7 DAYS OF CHALLENGE. Any user exceeding 21 hours will be disqualified which may affect the overall school result.
